FINAL CUSTOM BUILD OF 2025

FINAL CUSTOM BUILD OF 2025

As we approach the close of another busy year, we’re proud to highlight one of our final custom builds of 2025—a fully converted Water Well Inspection Trailer—engineered and built from the ground up by Laval Underground Surveys. This project represents everything we focus on: durability, performance, operator comfort, and real-world practicality.

Designed, engineered, and assembled in-house, this trailer conversion was built around our DC-5150 Camera System and delivered to a customer in Indiana. It’s a strong example of what a purpose-built mobile inspection platform can offer.

The Installation Process

Every trailer conversion starts as a blank canvas. From the exterior shell to the interior layout, our team designs each system with the end user in mind. This build features a reinforced trailer platform engineered to support equipment weight, and years of field use.

Inside, the trailer was laid out to maximize workflow efficiency from reel placement and cable routing to operator seating and monitor positioning. Electrical systems, climate control, and structural mounting were all integrated cleanly and securely during the build process.

Built for Demanding Inspections

This system is equipped with 2,500 feet of inspection cable, allowing for deep well applications. To ensure year-round usability, the trailer includes a built-in heater and air conditioning unit, keeping operators comfortable in all weather conditions.

A dual-monitor package provides clear, simultaneous viewing, while the LUS-DVR recording system makes it easy to capture, store, and share inspection footage.

Power is supplied by a securely mounted generator on the trailer tongue for self-contained operation in the field.
